EUCHAR GRAVINA - How Space Breaks up Around Every Cherry Tree
The Malta Association for Contemporary Music (MACM) presents a programme of 20th century and contemporary music, under the baton of Michael Laus. One of the highlights on the programme is the premiere of Ruben Zahra’s “Kinderklavier Concerto” for toy pianos and chamber orchestra, featuring pianist Tricia Dawn Williams. Another piece by a Maltese composer is Euchar Gravina’s “How space breaks up around every cherry tree”. The programme includes two 20th century classics: Hindemith’s Kammermusik No.1 and Stravinsky’s famous L’Histoire du Soldat. This concert is part of the Modern Music Days concert series organised by MACM in collaboration with MPO and supported by Arts Council Malta.
